My art has the power to touch us deep in our souls. This “Lifelines” series in particular is able to tell us stories without words. The artworks tell of lifelines, of highs and lows, of emotional scars that we all carry. The delicate lines reveal a certain fragility that allows us to look into the soul of the person portrayed.

We must not allow ourselves to be deceived. Even behind perfect faces, whether natural or styled, there are emotional scars. This is exactly what we don’t usually show off. My series of heads aims to visually draw attention to precisely the existence of these hidden experiences.

The artwork shows the outer shell of the human being in all its beauty. I can see the fine lines on the skin and the shades of light and shadow that complete the overall picture.
But when I take a closer look, I also recognize the many stories and experiences that are hidden in the depths of this shell. Every scar and every line tells its own story. It is fascinating to see how all these stories come together to form a mosaic of life that shows us in all our uniqueness and complexity.
