With my art, I want to create a colorful world full of feelings, tolerance and respect for others in order to enable peaceful coexistence.
Silke von Clarmann

Just painting beautiful pictures is simply not enough for me – I am interested in people and their faces. I usually capture facial expressions, emotions and facial expressions on canvas using acrylic paints. My large-format and colorful works of art have an effect through the literally ambiguous Augenblick between the subject and the viewer.
Because faces are more than just a brushstroke.

By reducing and modifying the colors, Silke von Clarmann dismantles motifs from the usual structure and demonstrates them in a completely new aesthetic. This reduction of colors brings a certain blurriness to the image that makes the original photos appear like a memory - visually intangible, but tangible!

There are moments in life that you don't want to celebrate with something ephemeral, but with something very special. For our son's graduation, we were looking for a gift that was not only personal but also of lasting value - something that would reflect his passion for music and accompany him throughout his life.
When we attended Ms. v. Clarmann's vernissage, we were immediately fascinated by her technique and the deep emotions that the paintings convey. It was as if each work told its own story. The decision to commission Silke von Clarmann to create a very personal work of art for our son was therefore an easy one.
The picture she created exceeded all our expectations. The pop art elements, the instrument as the central motif, the embedded sheet music - every detail reflects our son's love of music. It's not just a work of art, but a part of our story, a symbol of this special stage in his life.
It is a gift that he will never forget and that has a very special meaning for him - far beyond material things.
Thank you very much, Mrs. von Clarmann has given us a piece of eternity, and for that we are infinitely grateful.

We fell in love with the picture at first sight. The portrait of the African woman with golden jewelry immediately reminded us of our trip to Africa - the colors, the warmth, the proud beauty of the people and the unforgettable experiences we had there.
The work brings all these memories back to our home. It is as if we can feel the stories we experienced every time we look at the picture. The radiance of the woman, her dignity and elegance, and the earthy tones combined with the gold - all this captures the magic of Africa for us.
For us, this work of art is a kind of window to our most beautiful memories and a daily inspiration.
