By reducing and modifying the colors, Silke von Clarmann dismantles motifs from the usual structure and demonstrates them in a completely new aesthetic. This reduction of colors brings a certain blurriness to the image that makes the original photos appear like a memory – visually intangible, but tangible!

I commissioned Silke v. Clarmann to take a portrait of our dog. The collaboration with her worked perfectly and on time. The result is really, really beautiful.

For our son’s graduation, we were looking for a gift that was not only personal but also of lasting value – something that would reflect his passion for music and accompany him throughout his life.

When we attended Ms. v. Clarmann’s vernissage, we were immediately fascinated by her technique and the deep emotions that the paintings convey. It was as if each work told its own story. The decision to commission Silke von Clarmann to create a very personal work of art for our son was therefore an easy one.
